Elise & Chris Maternity – AF Photographer

This little bubba is due next week! I can’t wait to meet him or her πŸ™‚ I hope all goes smoothly for these expectant, first-time parents. They seemed so nervous during their session last week. I’m not sure if I was a help or hindrance to their nerves, during the session! We started with some very formal, stand-up-straight-and-smile type shots, to break the ice, and get the “hard stuff” out of the way. A few jokes and laughs later, I think they had somewhat relaxed. You’ll have to let me know guys! I hope you like this sneak peek, and wish you all the best for the arrival of your little one πŸ™‚

Keats Wedding – December ’17

Mr & Mrs Robert & Lisa Keats

I don’t usually photograph weddings. It’s been about 10 years since I last did. But this was a special exception, for my brother and (now) sister in law. They were married on December 16, 2017, and have been waiting patiently since then, to see some images! So, Rob & Lisa, I’m pleased to let you know, your DVD will be ready this week!! I hope you like this little sneak peek in the meantime.

The Groom and Groomsmen, along with the flower girls (my nieces), spent the morning getting ready at our place in Wilton. I had fun doing the flower girls hairstyles. And Nanny helped them with some make up. Everyone looked pretty spiffy.

The Bride and the Bridesmaids were getting ready at Rob & Lisa’s home in Mount Annan. The flower girls came along with me, and we took some shots of all the action there. The dress had stunning lace detail, and the bouquets were beautiful white, with a splash of pastel tones throughout.

The girls traveled in a classic Studebaker, owned by Lisa’s father, which has become some what of a family tradition for their weddings. The ceremony was held in the garden at Camden Lakeside Country Club. It was a beautiful setting, although a scorching hot day (35+). Following the ceremony, the guests were able to cool off, with refreshments inside. While I spent just a short time with with the bridal party, taking some shots in the country garden setting.

The reception was a casual, yet stylish affair, hosted back at the couple’s Mount Annan home. The cocktail style set up, made for a relaxing evening, and the wood fired pizza, was a great catering choice. Rob & Lisa had spent many weeks preparing and decorating their home for the night. They had collected modern details to set the scene and even custom built some of the furniture and bar. I huge testament to their skills and determination to make their wedding day something truly special.

Little Miss Aria – 3 months old

There were kisses all round, for Little Miss Aria, during her session recently!

It took her a little while to warm up to me, and the studio (and by “little while”, I mean, she went home for a long nap, a big feed, and then came back for round 2), but we got there eventually. Thankfully she returned very happy, and with lots of smiles, and ready for a few different outfits πŸ˜€

3 months, is a great age, but not one I photograph often. I find it’s great for those who were thinking about newborn shots, but didn’t quite get around to booking in time. By 3 months, we can really capture some of bub’s personality, and add variety to the session with tummy shots, laying down shots, and prop shots. Sometimes, if I’m very lucky, a 3 month old will be so tired out by the end of their session, I may even be able to capture one sleepy, newborn type set-up as well. Unfortunately, Aria was not in the mood for this sort of thing!

I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek. The full gallery will be on it’s way shortly.

Baby Dustin – Newborn Portraits

Oh my, such a precious little doll. I have a couple more pics to share with you all of this adorable little boy, Dustin. He showed off some amazing facial expressions during his newborn session. Like these ones here:

He was very awake and alert during most of the session. He posed for some beautiful shots with mum and dad. Even cracked out a bit of a smirk.

Eventually we tired him out and he fell sound asleep. Happily snuggled here with one of his nursery friends.

Mummy Joan – Maternity Session

I’m sending my congratulations to this lovely couple, who welcomed baby Dustin into the world, this week!! We were so lucky to fit this session in, just 4 days before her due date. Joan was absolutely radiant during her Maternity session, and had so many stunning outfits to choose from. We had a wonderful afternoon.

And even the animals were interested in being part of the session πŸ™‚ Perhaps the animals will also co-operate when Joan & HenryΒ return for their Newborn Portraits next week, as there is now a new addition to our alpaca family as well as their own family!

Baby Tahlia – AF Photographer

Meet Baby Tahlia!! Tahlia had a Hungry Caterpillar themed baby shower (with an amazing cake, by the way), so mum brought along some props to continue the theme for her newborn session.Tahlia was teeny tiny, just 2.27kg born. I loved capturing all her little features, to remember these tiny beginnings. She is already growing so fast!

I’m now taking bookings for the new year. If you would like to arrange your session, please contact me.

Pretty Little Sitter

Little Miss Lauren, had JUST learnt to sit up by herself, right before coming for her session. She was ever so proud of herself! Such an adorable little face πŸ™‚

Toddler Twins – Outdoor Portraits

More twins on the blog tonight!! Toddlers this time πŸ™‚ With their big sister. This made for a high-energy, non-stop, fun-filled family portrait session. These kids were keen to explore, see the animals, find rabbits, giggle, smile and play. Here’s a little sneak peek of the memories we captured along the way.

Twin Girls – Amira & Hajra

These twins were unbelievably cute, and absolutely identical! I hope I didn’t mix them up! Mum was taking down notes of which one I wrapped what colour πŸ™‚ But luckily they had also put some toenail polish on one of them, to tell them apart! Congratulations to this wonderful family. I hope you like this sneak peek.Twins Twins BW twin girls
